The beach was about 2 blocks from our hotel....that (sarcasm) strenuous (/sarcasm) journey was too much for these sandals after the first day. The thong part of the sandal ripped through my skin and blistered my soles. My feet are tough, I wear rainbow sandals almost year round....shame on me for trying to save a buck by purchasing these. I was better off going barefoot. Save yourself the time and the foot pain and go with a better brand sandal. No lie, these sandals almost ruined my Hawaiian vacation, nothing like having to wear tennis shoes at the beach, but that was what I had to resort to to cover up my wounds.
