I wanted to pick up a pair of white shoes, but I am not sure I can pull off the sockless-leather-loafer look. These shoes were exactly what I wanted. This is the more age-appropriate version of a boat shoe for a thirty-something. They are casual enough to be worn with board shorts or cargo khaki shorts, but they can definitely swim up-stream and be worn with a more preppy summer look.
I have only had these for a matter of hours, but they seem extremely comfortable. Immediately upon putting them on, I went back to amazon to see what other colors were available.
The one negative I will mention is that they try a little too hard to be relaxed, with that broken-in look. I trimmed off the loose threads to give it a more finished look and they are great!
Lastly, for the price, can you really go wrong??
